The cost of in-home options to help your teen can range anywhere from $20 for contracts, $300 for parenting DVD programs, and around $1200 for a DVD/Workbook/Parent Coaching program. These are all good ideas - you might try the least expensive first and work your way up as needed.
Then if you have tried everything - you may need to find a residential treatment center for defiant or troubled teens. Defiant teens may have ODD or other behavior disorders.
